The Malta Beef Club came from an unpretentious conversation between the cousins Marcelo and Sergio Malta.
The embryo of this story was Sabor D.O.C., a meat boutique disputed by customers avid for premium meat in Leblon, commanded by Marcelo Malta, restauranteur responsible for providing noble meat to the best chefs and hotels in Rio.
Commenting with Cousin Sergio Malta on the success of the small enterprise, the two had the idea of literally increasing the domains, literally, and creating a unique meat house in Rio de Janeiro.
But to take care of this daring project, they would need someone to take care of the message.
That’s where the name of André Piva came into the story. The renowned architect was invited to design the new venture, but eventually fell in love with the project, arising there a partnership and partnership between the three.
Malta has come up with the innovative proposal to not just be a meat house, and created Beef Club, a new concept where all cuts are made to be shared, providing our customers and friends with moments of sharing and happiness in an environment unique in the city.
We brought the first Dry Aged space to the city, a dry maturation system that gives the flesh a unique flavor, flavor and juiciness, giving meat lovers a unique experience.
Our mission is to serve our meat in a state of art, seeking to feel and prepare each cut as it is, enhancing and sharpening the flavor in the most natural way possible, without the interference of elements that alter the essence of each cut. Our meats come from the Angus breed, cattle from Scotland that have a layer of fat considered perfect, between 3 and 6 mm.
In the whole world the flesh has several names, the English call it meat, the French de Viande, the Germans call it Fleisch, and the Swedes call it kött.
In Malta, no matter the language, after all, the language of pleasure is.
